At this point, we will discuss treatment options and decide on a custom-made ADHD medication titration program. This will include an assessment of your medication dose and an examination of any side effects you might be experiencing. The pharmacy will charge you for any charges for medication.

Medication
For many who wish to obtain an official diagnosis of ADHD treatment is an important aspect of their journey. It isn’t easy to obtain prescriptions from psychiatrists on the NHS. NHS waiting lists are notoriously long and GPs may be reluctant to refer patients to specialist services.
Requesting your GP to refer you to Right to Choose is one way to avoid this (see psychiatry – UK and ADHD 360). You can select a provider that offers an assessment on your own and the titration. This can cut down on wait time by a significant amount and is more convenient when you are working and have a hectic schedule.
Once you have been referred through this route your chosen doctor will evaluate you and determine whether or not you’re required to be monitored for a dose of medication. You will need to complete forms that are different for each provider, but the most common ones are self-reporting forms and medical histories going to childhood and adulthood.
